This is a new letter from Pastor LuisJean at Aux Coteaux.
From : Coteaux’s Baptist Church.
To : Grace Lutheran.
Subject : Information and News.
May the peace and grace of God be with you? You can’t understand how my heart is sad today while I’m writing you this letter because I heard from director Billy Moses that sister Suzie has cancer. I also heard from Billy that the team has canceling this year because they don’t have enough people to come. I did a lot preparation to have you here, but unfortunately you can not come this year.
After, the sickness of Sister Suzie, how is it going for the rest of the members of Grace Lutheran? I know it is hard for you because a team is considered as a whole body and if one of them sick, I know that the whole body is suffers too, we find this in the book of Roman chapter 12.
Here in Coteaux Baptist Church we doing fine, except my wife, as she was at Port-au-Prince for 25 days just to see a doctor. Praise the Lord she is doing fine now that she is back from Port-au-Prince. We have has many activities in the church for the last two years. We have had many weddings and a new deacon committee who has work hard with me in the church for the glory of God. Also, we want to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your help, especially for those of you who contributed to The Hope for Kids program.
This year we will two revivals in the church and a regional convention where we will have 30 churches that meet together in Coteaux Baptist Church to praise the Lord. Please pray God will supply the means to fix our generator. At the end of July we will have a week of revival in the church, and at the same time we will have an evangelism time for the community of Coteaux. The week of July 23rd we will have the summer school for all the kids in the church. About the pastor’s house everything is working fine, we already have the cement roof done.
Even though you are not here this year I know our relationship is still firm and I will keep praying for you so that God can continue to send his blessing upon your church.
Sincerely,
Pastor Louisjean Cevedieu
